How does this apply to balloons ?

You can try to imagine all sorts of different situations, and imagine your reactions to each one - and try changing your reactions as well in order to practice. You could, for example, imagine that you see a balloon being burst... and you don't hear anything at all. You could imagine that the balloon makes just a slight pop - you could imagine that your reaction is different to normal too - remember - this is all happening in the safety of your own mind - so anything can happen there without there being any danger to you.
